The Piper Building

The Piper Building

Originally built in the late 1950’s by the North Thames Gas Board (later British Gas). The building was converted into unique loft apartments in 1997. This gated development benefits from secure allocated parking, 24-hour concierge, passenger lifts and a communal roof terrace. John Piper, a leading artist in the 1950s, was commissioned to decorate the exterior of the conference room wing and he produced 76 meters of fibreglass mural panels, providing a truly distinguished example of public art.

This building has a fantastic location on Peterborough Road; the area offers a vibrant range of shops, cafes and restaurants on Wandsworth Bridge Road and New Kings Road. There is also access to the green expanses of South Park and Hurlingham Park.
